Christmas 2009
This has been a wonderful holidays after a very stress-filled first semester. Overall I scored averagely (with a 3.0 GPA), and the prep for second semester has scared the wits out of me >.< (seven courses?! T.T). Anyways...
These past two weeks have been some of the best in my life, so I'm creating a list of things I am thankful for...
- The gifts from:- Alan
- Andrea*
- Bonnie
- Brian
- Briar
- Christine
- Edmond
- Jason
- Jihye*
- Johnny
- Joyce
- Julien*
- Kairine
- Linda*
- Mei
- Quinlan
- Richard
- Rose*
- Torain
- Torin
- Passing all of my courses this semester ^^".
- Being able to go to the Christmas Craft at Pi Fellowship, make very cute skates and see all my brothers and sisters again.
- Johnny and his awesomeness in choosing gifts for my parents (both Christmas and anniversary), and for providing me with dinner and helping me wrap their gifts. It was also fun helping him with Christine's gifts too of course. X3
- Having the chance to visit Grandma Joyce again (and to see she is brazen as ever ^^").
- All the help Julien has given me throughout the semester and for the help he gave me in fixing all of the computers in the house. Also for all his work and his gifts T.T.
- Having a chance to exchange gifts with Torin, and to be able to spend time with him again.
- The dinner on the 21st, which was soooo much fun <3 <3 Thank you JJC for letting me plan it!
- When I got to spend Alann-kun's birthday with him, and that his gift ended up being something he likes.
- All the effort Quinlan's family put into making sure their gift made it to my house >.<.
- When Jihye and I managed to make plans to meet each other at midnight, and see each other the next dayy. It was soooo much funn hanging out together again, and running around delivering gifts <3
- The chance to meet Paul and Nick, the sons of my Mom's cousins. The entire Young family are awesome people =3.
- Being able to see Isaac and Eric (FINALLY X3) for a VERY filling breakfast at IHOP ^.^ And sticker pictures were fun too of course.
- The wonderful environment that actually decided to greet me at the dinner with my Dad's side of the family. I was so happy to relax and chat casually without worrying about being.... well... and Georgie the cat seemed to want my company a lot =3. Caroling was as fun as ever ^.^
- Being able to see Jamie and Melissa again, along with Benji and Eunice! I hope your leg heals soon Jamiee T.T *Huggles*
- The fact that my parents really liked their gifts =3 Both their Christmas and Anniversary ones ^.^ (Good job Johnny)!
- My PoPo's good health and her happiness when she saw Evan. It was a really awesome dinner with my Mom's side of the family, despite most of my cousins missing (in Japan and working T.T). Evan was adorable <3 and my GungGung surpassed himself with all the food... everyone did actually =3. The traditional dinner was wonderful!
- Being able to see Andrea, Rose and Linda again (despite Jasmine not making it T.T). The movie was cute, and a nice change, and our traditional sticker photos were great as well (so cute this timee ^.^).
- My new glasses! ^.^ It's been seven years since I had gotten a pair.... though these ones defintely are different from what I have had in the past...
- Vincent! X3 And Jess-chan too. <3 They did soo much for me: driving us to Richmond, giving me the chance to play THREE HOURS of badmintonn, and they gave my first experience tasting deep fried ice-cream <3 <3 You guys are the best! It was so much fun. THANK YOU ^.^.
- Seeing Kevin randomly in the line to buy tickets for Avatar X3 which was a brilliant movie by the way. That day was one of the best I've ever had, despite my bad planning skills T.T.
- The really yummy Mango Ice Cream Bubbletea, and the opportunity to see Andre again.
- Having had the chance to meet up with Torain, Muimui, Briar, Brian and Kairi, and celebrate New Year's Eve Early X3.
- My new netbook and all of the help from Uncle Ken and Auntie Pam! Thank you soo much for everything! And the Homecoming was a pleasure to play and record. =3
And...
- Being able to see someone very special to me so much over the holidays. <3
Best of luck with your second semester everyone! And don't forget... the 2010 Olympics are just around the corner! Merry late Christmas and Happy New Year! I miss you all, but I still love you =3

Summer 09
This has been a rollercoaster of a summer... ^^" It's been a mixture of both super fun days, and super boring ones. I'll update this entry as I go X3 Time to post some memories:
Current Events:
Up - X3 Went to see Up with my favourite Kelowna cousins =3 They came back for a week to hang out and enjoy the mildly boiling temperatures ^^" (it is way hotter in the Okanogan T.T)
Cherry-Picking w/ Jason, Andy, Charles, Julien - Thank you to all of you guys <3
Alann-kun's SNSD book - X3 Prettyyy, and I can actually read a bit of Korean now! (Stress a bit T.T). Anyways... I should really return it to you soon...
Pi Fellowship - Coffeehouse - A relaxing time with my fellowship <3 I really miss them now since I haven't been able to go in AGES T.T But Jotaro came back!! Hurrayy! So I'll get to see my big brother more often hopefullyy =3
Culturathon - Isaac, Sunny, Andy, Julien and I took part in this competition, similar to the Amazing Race, except only in Vancouver. We went to the Greek Fest, Chinatown and the Punjabi Market via public transportation, answering questions to packages and taking pictures. It was really fun. X3 We kind of intimidated some people with our Sunrun T-shirts (T.T not our intention), and ended up as the second group back and first place winners for getting the most questions right! o.O Thanks you guys for the theatre pass and the badminton court giftcards!! <3 <3
New Netbook - I love my family sooo much <3 <3 As a grad present, my mom's side of the family got together to get me a netbook for school! ^.^ It's just under 3 pounds and has a 9-inch screen. I was amazed. Oh thank you so much you guys <3 <3
Beach - Went to White Rock with the girls to play some volleyball and draw in the sand. It was thankfully not that hot that day, and it was super relaxing. The gelatos afterwards were really good too ^.^ Hurray for strawberry cheesecake and mint swirl ^.^
Seattle/Premium Outlets - Didn't do much.... X3 Mostly lots of walking around. I did get some new court shoes though ^.^ And they were reasonably priced. The border line-up wasn't that bad either ^^" It was... relaxing I guess...?
Driving - Wow I'm sloww T.T Johnny's learning everything I am in HALF the time. Anyways, we have an AWESOME instructor... though we may be having some difficulties right now. It's fun when Johnny and I go driving with my dad though... figure 8s! X3 X3 . . . T.T Ohh but that hill....
Birthday Parties x3 - Happy birthday to all you wonderful people <3 <3
Met with Rose, Linda, Andrea - Went to the mall for a bit to... hang out ^^" And did our traditional sticker photo... though I have yet to upload them ^^" (Jasmine was in a car accident thoughh T.T oh emmm!! *huggles*)
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen - Hurray! Went to see Transformers with Torin. It was SOO good; the action and the music kept youcaptivated, despite the length of the movie. Aww and I haven't seen him for so long! It was great to be able to see him and give him a hug! *huggles* We'll still have to meet up again, kk?
My Sister's Keeper - Went with the girls and oh my goodness T.T Even though I've already read the book, I was STILL sad watching it... it was still pretty good though o.O
The Proposal - Though I'm not usually into comedies, it was actually pretty good o.O
Took Aunty Lita and Corrie out for dinner - To thank them for my Grad Gift (helping me with the prom dress, and the warm wishes). Thank you guys very muchh!!
Met up with Edward for.. shopping o.O - Well.. we bought what we needed to buy X3 And I got a new summer dress! Thanks Edward!! Good luck with... your thing! ^^" I shall be cheering you on the whole way!
Chocolate-shoppingg - Went with Andrea and Jesika for some chocolate shopping at Charlie's Chocolate Factory. <3 So cutee, the chocolate piano... oh and it was nice and cool in there too. We had floats and played Bop-It after X3 LOL *Hearts* to you bothh <3 <3 <3 *Huggles*
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - Went with Jason and Julien to watch it. It was pretty good. Went to the park afterwards too, which was super peacefull ^.^ We got to feed the squirrels and there was this really friendly dog too. Oh thank you so much you guys for a great day <3
Italian Restaurant... dinner? - o.O Let's just say I was NOT used to it... I had a good time though! Thank you ______ for the dinner <3
HSBC Celebration of Lights 2009 - Went with Jason, Jenny, Christine and Johnny (and my parents) to see them. It was quite fun, and relaxing, despite the heat. We got to play badminton and ultimate and go down to the water and just hang out. The food was great too X3 for a rush job picnic plan. The fireworks were really nice as well, since they played Pomp and Circomstance, quite fitting for us since we all just graduated. Thanks again you guys, for a great dayy, and evening X3
Public Enemies - Took a LONG time to understand the plot... which wasn't that good, but the action was still nice! X3 Torin, you make GOOD choices in movies!
Paintball-ing - That was... surprisingly better than my previous experience. I ended up unintentionally honing my sniping skills o.O But besides that... the strangest part... I NEVER GOT HIT o.O Not even once! Anyway... that was surprising. Thank you Stanley for inviting me though =3 And for starting the idea. ^.^ It was good to see everyone again!
ARCT Teachers - That was the HARDEST weekend of my whole summer T.T But thankfully it is ALL over ^.^ I'm just waiting for my results now... If all goes well, I'll get my teaching certificate by October =3
The Perseids Meteor Shower - So cloudy this year T.T But I was able to see a few on August 11th =3 It was really relaxing, and a natural wonder that is definitely worth watching. I had my beanie chair on my balcony for more than an hour ^.^
Badminton Day 1 - So funn ^.^ Jason, Irene, Jess-chan, Vincent, Isaac and Johnny came over and played badminton for EIGHT hours LOL, from 1pm till dark! Unfortunately, Andy couldn't come and Alann-kun was being lazy T.T We had lots of drinks and fruits and snacks and sandwiches (TOASTED NUTELLA SANDWICHES, designed specificaly for Johnny X3) We set up the net in the backyard and everything and had some rallies ^.^ Johnny and I tried it over the fence between Alann-kun and my yard, but then I got a birdie stuck in the high bush X3 Oh well... Overall it was super funn and I had a wonderful day thanks to you guys <3 And don't worry Vince, I forgive you for smashing to the back of my head; you are still a wonderful partner and it barely hurt! Please do not duct tape my mouth for saying "sorry" too much T.T And REALLY I should duct tape YOUR mouth for saying "squirrel" all the time X3
Quinlan - Lunch and piano - Both were relaxing. I really owe you though, for the wonderful chat, and for helping my students get a new piano! X3 And for teaching me how to say "lay cee" properly...
G.I. Joe - The animation was better than Transformers, but the level of the movie was about the same. I saw Kairine while I was there too! The irony... she was sitting RIGHT behind us X3
Plum-picking - One of the most enjoyable afternoons I've ever experienced. After getting BBT, Jason and I got to pick plums in Johnny's backyard (which is the most beautiful and peaceful place in the world, thanks to his mini waterfall/pond). Jason bit a wasp by accident X3 and there were plenty of small laughs from that. We also went biking later; Johnny and I lapped Killarney and the park 3 times! Overall it was super relaxing, and it felt so wonderful to just sit in the shade and chat.
The Time Traveler's Wife - It made my cry SO much at the end T.T Definitely as good as the book... Happy Early Birthday Andrea <3 We saw Sara and Anna too... oh emm... and Bonny too! *Huggles everyone*
Jasmine - We had such a fun chat at Starbucks! Oh my goodness, I'm so glad we met up and took pictures *hugs* I'll miss you during the school year T.T But for sure we'll see each other again soon... <3
Torin - X3 Watched "How I Met Your Mother", "Dr. Horrible" and "BlueBlaze" at his house. What do you mean there's nothing to do at your place Torin? That was soo fun ^.^ LOL. And Burk and Evan came to visit too ^.^
Badminton Day 2 - Another day of randomness, starting off with badminton, but we ended up doing more talking, eating, poking my cherry tree, and later at night, stargazing X3 It was fun seeing Andrea on her birthday, and Quinlan did drop by for a bit to chat and try some training with the wind ^^" Jason, Jessica, Vincent and Johnny stayed till after dark though, and it turned out to be really nice. Thank you so much for coming, and thank you for all the help with my laptop Jason! I'm going to miss all of you when school starts =(
Cindy - My new friend who is going into second year electrical engineering <3 I love her so much; thanks to her, I have over half of my textbooks for the school year now! *huggles* I cannot believe craigslist works so well... o.O
Edmond's BBQ - Met some new friends X3 and I got to see so many old ones... <3 I apologies to the three Js though for all the awkwardness that you felt =(
Grad Dinner and Back-to-school Party - A fun time talking to many friends that I haven't seen since paintball... <3 Thank you Stanley, for paying and hosting and everything; it was relaxing and I hope we'll be able to see each other again soon!
PNE - Breaks are the best times of the day <3 I get to hang out with the friends I care about most in the world (at the moment anyway X3; just kidding you guys). Thank you for a wonderful time, and for the wonderful memories RJ, DW, JY, JC and JP. Thinking of the rides we went on together (wooden roller coaster and ferris wheel <3) and taking breaks at the park (and on the rock) are giving me nostalgia at the moment. Thank you for dinner, and I hope to see you guys all again VERY soon. I miss you already.
Johnny x... infinity - neopets, shopping for laptop/backpack, driving, lunch, plum-picking, work . . . - Johnnyyy o.O Wow I've seen you a lot this summer X3 Thank you for the help in getting the BPM, despite the banning T.T And thank you for doing so much to help me with my life ^^" Awww *huggles* And have you found you new laptop yet? Any luckk? Chuu... anyway... it was fun , the driving and meeting up and everything. I'm sorry for what happened, but I'll always be there if you need anything, kk? =3 *hugs one of the best people in the world*.

Thank You.
Well.. so far, this has been the most eventful June I've ever had in my life... in both good and bad ways >.<
June started off... not too bad. Andy and I did super well during our dance test, and I had a lot of fun! I went with Jacky and Julien to the "All About UBC" Info night for Applied Sciences (and we found out a LOT of good tips... I think anyway). Mr. Gibson came to visit Calculus.
Tuesday, June 9th was definitely the cause of this opinion. Most of it was okay at first. I was able to give out ALL of my gifts by the end of the day (isn't that amazing! o.O it's a first!), and get everyone's signatures! The Awards Ceremony went well in the morning too... four certificates, honour roll rewin and a silver K award? But then, things got really messed during the math mock. It was pretty confusing, and it still is even now. >.< Basically, I found a bunch of papers (like a HUGE) stack in my jacket pocket while I was writing the exam, and Tello saw me when I tried to put them back. I really want to apologize for that, since first of all, I shouldn't have let my curiosity get the better of me, and second of all, it put my friends and family through quite a bit, hearing all the rumours or watching what happened during that time >.< I was in quite a bit of a mess afterwards, not really knowing what to do about it, but things have worked themselves out for now. Still a bit out of it though =(
But because of this, I really want to thank everyone who helped me out of the confusion, and the worry about my future: Jason, Andy, Sam, Charles (x2), Jacky, Julien, Edward, Andrea, Kelly, Jacqueline, Eva, Jihye, Vicky, Isaac, Alan, Irene, Edmond, Eric and JOHNNY. I'm sorry for all the confusion and I appreciate you messaging me, listening to me, encouraging me and helping me! You guys really are the best! <3 Jason and Julien especially, thank you so much for the escort and the help the next day! >.< I owe you guys, and I will make it up to you over the summer (I have something planned-ish? Something for each of you guys....).
But there have been some good things ^.^ Johnny's graduation was as long as ours, but it was still super interesting. I got to see Sonja, Anson, Sunny, Christine and Kevin grad too ^.^ Congratulations you guys! Johnny was also able to cheer me up from the earlier incident. We went out to dinner and everything afterwards, and even though we didn't have enough of an appetite to finish our food, it was still enjoyable. Thank you so much Johnnyy <3 <3 *hugs*
Yesterday, I started prepping for exams, and doing the thank you letters. I also went to the coffeehouse at church and I saw Jotaro!!! <3 <3 <3 It was so good to see him again! And Brian and Joyce and Ephra and EVERYONEE ^.^ I was so happy to see them, and all the food was amazing too! Dan squared did a great job with MCing too. I really hope after my exams, we'll be able to meet up again soon!
And at the moment, Johnny is over ^.^ Finally, we got to play badminton after AGES of being too busy to =( I won by... 2 points T.T and by fluke too... BAD JOHNNY, purposely smashing into the net for me... Thank you though.... it's been super fun and relaxing: ice cream floats after, dinner with wayyy too much hot sauce for my liking T.T, games, writing thank you letters, yearbooks and lots of chat. You really are the best though *hugs*. Hontoni!
Anyways... four more provincials to go at the moment: English, Math, Chem and French. No Physics, since there's no way I'd remember everything from last August...
Plans for the summer: Teaching piano (I'm getting two more students! o.O), Getting my Teacher's Certificate (yes! I'm 18 noww!!), Playland (x2), Movies (Up, Transformers 2, etc.), Fireworks (x2), Picnic (planning is in the works... and it's... a BIT of a surprise? We'll see....). I'll have a full schedule set up later.
Once again, thank you so much for everything that all my true friends have done for me. I really appreciate all your help and your friendship, and for helping me through the difficult times. Please take care, and I'll be updating again soon... (hopefully). <3

And now it is June...
Oh my goodness... May flew by like CRAZY o.O I'm really truly amazed at how fast time can fly... anyways, here is a summary of some things that happened during the 5th month of this year:
Prom 2009 - Once Upon A Time - May 8, 2009:
Our prom, I admit, wasn't what I would consider the most "amazing" thing in my life, but I really did enjoy it and I congratulate the Grad Committee on all their hard work! =3 There were some sweet memories from there... but it's hard to really describe... all I can say is that "a picture says 1000 words" (aptly proposed to my by Hien). And if you take that quote to be true, then I've already written 349 000 words on what prom was for me. You can view about half of them on Facebook X3
Mother's Day Weekend:
I had some good times at the mall with Stanley, treating him to his birthday! ^.^ LOL I'm glad I was able to get him a present of SOME sorts from that... (ie. buying him dinner). I also had a lot of fun helping people with their Mother's Day gifts and surprising my Mom and Grandma with flowers and breakfast in bed/dim sum respectively.
May 12th, 2009:
Hurray! I finally get to vote! LOL it was funny though... some of the volunteers at the Corky voting station seemed so lost X3
May 21st, 2009:
Jazz Band Final Concert in Lounge Style. It was fun to watch and I enjoyed the music..mostly =3. I got into a bit of trouble for being out so late, but I was glad to be able to help them out and support them! Congrats you guys...
Graduation Ceremony:
Oh my goodness... I actually had FUN at it! Well.. sort of.. before and after anyway =3
It was wonderful to be able to take pictures with my friends and give everyone hugs and EVERYTHING. My mom got me a rose o.O She knows it's my favourite flower, but still.. I'll love that more than a giant bouquet of random flowers ANY DAY. O0o0ohh.. and Edward and Johnny came!! <3 <3 I love you guys! After the ceremony, we went out to Honolulu for a late night dinner (my parents, Edward, Johnny and I), and then Johnny and I went for BBT afterwards. We saw Siong, Emily and all of Siong's brothers there, as well as Davis and Calvin X3 X3 So funn!! Thank you guys... you are the best, REALLY.
Concerts concerts CONCERTS:
From Monday to Wednesday, I performed for FOUR CONCERTS o.O Monday was a 3 hour guest appearance as an Academy Alumni. It was quite lax, and I got this huge bouquet of white roses afterwards ^.^ Tuesday, I performed with the Wind Quintet (with Andy, Claire, Sara and Jason) in the "foyer" (ie. upstairs) during the Finale Choir Concert Intermission, and we played the Bassoon Concerto on stage. It was SOO hot... but I was glad that we did it. Tuesday night though.. (and Monday night too..) WOW I was stressed out. I was really hard-pressed trying to get the covers for Knapp and Ledingham's gifts donee, as well as get EVERYONE'S write-ups, quotes and pics >.< I really owe Andy and Andrea SOO much for all the help they gave me, and shout outs go to Eva and Kezia too for sending me really badly needed pictures of the group <3 <3 You guys really are the best. And thanks to everyone's contributions, we successfully finished both gifts prior to the Senior A Band Final Concert ^.^ The Wind Quintet got to play again for both Senior A and B (Oh my goodness, we didn't amke any mistakes! =3)and Charles played an AMAZING piece called the Carnival of Venice (hurray Charles and Caroline!! ^.^). Downfall of Paris (the flute and percussion piece) went well enough, and Adriana <3 <3 did really well with Fiddle Faddle. We got to see Mr. Seah after the concert, and Bonny, Cindy, Fiona and I got to see Ms. Uberall too! ^.^ Overall, those three days were some of the most stressful, tiring, rewarding days in all of Grade 12! I think I slept about 2 hours combined those three days... ^^"
The REST of that week:
I had a test EVERY SINGLE DAY that week =.=" That was just crazy... the week after it (the first week of June) is slated with tests as well... I have definitely fallen behind... but you know what? That just means it's almost at the end ToT, which is both a good AND bad thing...
Friday was also a courtyard concert... which I got some beautiful and random photos from =3
Saturday, May 30th 2009 - Eric's Birthday Party and Hollywood-Themed Tri-Service Ball:
I got lost trying to get to Eric's Place o.O Heehee.. but you know what? I had fun getting there. X3 I went shopping for fondue ingredients with him after I arrived, and he taught me about Korean pop culture after we got back X3 His parents are EXTREMELY nice, and I loved the food prepared! Thank you soo much Eric!! ^.^ It's too bad I missed the badminton...
Tri-Service was super fun, but I was exhasuted by the time I got home, at around midnight (and I left early too o.O). Ten guys asked me for a dance... one that I knew, nine that I didn't ^^". I met up with so many friends there, even though the person I was SUPPOSE to go with (ahem >.> you know who you are! LOL) couldn't make it X3 It was still really fun dancing so much, meeting up with Maggie and Alan and Vivian and them, and seeing Kelvin and others again though!-----
Anyways... that's all the major events that happened in May... as far as I can remember ^^" Coming up this week: MORE tests X3 French provincial listening, English poetry test, Chem final assessment, Math mock provincial final, Dance final test on salsa and waltz (oh my... Andy and I will be performing that ON STAGE tomorrow in the auditorium?! Kudos to the Athletic Banquet being held in the Caf at the time ^^") and four provincials!!
Also coming up.. the last few days of school ToT Can you believe it?! I'll be posting again with summer plans after all my exams (or somewhere around there X3).
Kk I should go and study English right now, but before I go... here's some huge thank yous and hugs I want to give out:
Alan Chau . . .
Andrea Low . . .
Andy Tan . . .
Crystal Wong . . .
Edward Wong . . .
Eric Park . . .
Eva Kwan . . .

Jacqueline Wu . . .
Jason Peng . . .
Jihye Do . . .
Julien Law . . .
Johnny Yip . . .

For helping me with concert prep, and for helping me carry tons of things when I get overloaded. Thank you for the chats and for the smiles. Thank you for everything you've done for me this past month. I love you guys so much! <3 <3
Edit (June 2nd): Thank you Andyy for an amazing dance test! LOL. And congrats on the mark =3 We should have had someone film it.. >.> just for the fun of it LOL X3
